And this is not a coincidence: an educated worksforce, world class research institutions, the creation of supporting programs by the government and a culture of entrepreneurship makes Israel as one of the most promising hubs for the development of water, renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, and this is why global investors are targeting Israeli energy and water start ups.

Se realizo en la Ciudad de Eilat la convención mundial de energías renovables

En estos dias se llevo a cabo la convención mundial de energías alternativas en la cual estuvimos presentes.  El evento se repite cada dos años en la Ciudad Turistica de Eilat.

Este evento congrega a profesionales del todo el mundo y es una oportunidad única para hacer contactos comerciales y científicos de primera clase. Inversionistas, gente de negocios, lideres mundiales de la industria, emprendedores tecnologicos y hacedores de politicas en este ramo vienen todos a apuntalar la revolucion verde.

Los temas expuestos incluyeron una conferencia de inversionistas en el área de cleantech; ultimas innovaciones tecnológicas en – Energía Solar, Eólica, Almacenaje y Energía a base de Desechos Solidos. Eficiencia Energética fue un tema central así como políticas para promover el uso de energías alternativas en Israel.  El tema de combustibles alternativos al petróleo tuvo gran interés así como el futuro de las ciudades ecológicas . Los términos mas escuchados en estos días incluyeron Grid Parity, «Smart Cities», Smart Grid, y Seguridad Energética. Del mismo modo se realizaron viajes de campo al Arava Renewable Energy Valley.
